Established in February 2022 by Andrea Champlin and Chaitan Khosla, Satchel Projects is a contemporary project space located on the 9th Floor of the West Chelsea Arts Building in New York City.
The aim of Satchel Projects is to provide a space for compelling, engaging, and meaningful work by highly accomplished emerging and mid-career artists. The intimately-scaled gallery is an ideal place for visitors to have a focused, reflective experience of artworks.
The gallery seeks to connect featured artists and their work with local and international dealers, critics, curators, and collectors, as well as art enthusiasts. The gallery has no permanent roster of artists. Instead, as a project space, it presents autonomous, one-time solo shows in which the artist remains an independent agent.
Going forward, Satchel Projects will feature a broad range of media and artistic practices, from long-established forms to experimental and new media works.
